Rebentify Technologies LLC - 11th grade

My company's application, Rebentify (mentioned in post below), was my me and Kevin's, my business partner, first taste of professional application development and software engineering; needless to say, we loved it. While in the midst of completion of our beta for Rebentify, we decided this is what we want to do for our remaining years of high school. The knowledge we gain from these software projects is invaluable!

Because of the gaping hole in our lives that stem's from completing our first project, I set out to find something else we could work on in the mean time. Our school was using an application for scheduling intervention periods that was noticeably unprofessional, and poorly designed. The platform was supposed to lock after our third period on Mondays. I found that I could sent a post request with my cookie ID from Monday, when the scheduling platform wasn't locked, and fool the system into thinking that I should be allowed to change my schedule. I took this flaw to the assistant principal in-charge of this program, telling him that my company could make an application that is more secure, more customizable, and costs less.

We took both of these ideas and decided that we wanted to make our software development projects into a business. In June 2016, I officially filed Rebentify Technologies LLC with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, IRS, etc. This was a turning point for us, we legitimized our business! Now we are moving onto our third product that was requested by the Fond du Lac Police Department.
